The Day of the Triffids
About the TV Series
A scientist studying triffid plants temporarily goes blind after being attacked by one of their appendages. When he wakes up in his hospital room, he discovers that his sight has returned. However, it gradually becomes clear that after a powerful solar flare, Earth’s atmosphere glowed so brightly that almost all people on the planet were blinded, while the triffids have multiplied and become extremely dangerous.
