About the Movie
October 1941, near Moscow. Cadets from the Podolsk Artillery and Infantry Schools receive orders to take up defensive positions at the Ilyinsky line. Together with regular army units, they hold back the Nazi advance until reinforcements arrive, fighting against overwhelming German forces. At the cost of their own lives, these young cadets heroically defend the approaches to Moscow.
