About the TV Series
Jasper Tempest, a Cambridge don, is a brilliant academic and a confirmed misanthrope. His former student, now a police officer, is convinced that no one else is better suited to crack their tricky new case. Yielding to her persuasion, the professor begins to provide brilliant consultation to the investigators. Getting inside the mind of a criminal or a victim comes far more naturally to him than making small talk with ordinary people—and especially with his mother.
