Despite its isolation, Easter Island astonishes with its rich heritage. The island’s indigenous people, the Rapa Nui, managed to create majestic ensembles of giant statues and intricately designed dwellings. To this day, archaeologists are still trying to understand what technologies the islanders used centuries ago, as their craftsmanship is difficult to overestimate.
