About the Movie
The Explorers head for the Marquesas Islands, known as the «Land of Men». Legend has it that the Polynesian god Atea, the god of light, created the archipelago to live there. One day, in a fit of rage, he smashed it to pieces, transforming the island into a scattering of 15 islands, now called Hiva Oa, Nuku Hiva, Fatu Hiva, Ua Pou, Tahuata and others... all with a strong identity — the Marquesan identity.
